Partial Magic

Partial Magic| Jochen Abitz| €15.00

Partials are one of the standout features of the Stacks 3 plugin, allowing website builders to create a single stack – or multiple stacks – save and then replicate it in various ways throughout a site; for the organised among us, the informed use of Partials can shave many hours off the development of a new website.

Partial Magic is a collection of 30 Partials that are designed to work with Joe workman’s Foundation theme and require that, plus both Add-on packs as well as a selection of Big White Duck’s free stacks – full details are on the main product page. Assuming you’ve already got those products, then you’ll find Partial Magic is an excellent way to jump start your next web project.

Partials included here include three different ‘looks’ for your Site Styles, three types of Top Bar (Foundation’s navigation stack) different hero image stacks, various column and header/paragraph combos, different spacers, a footer and an email form.

To get the most out of Partial Magic you’ll either need to know what you’re doing already and be confident using Partials, or be prepared to spend some time getting to grips with the whole concept and experimenting with the various included stacks. Either way, this will be €15.00 well spent – either because of the time you’ll save when creating a Foundation-based website, or because of what you’ll learn about Partials by picking the included stacks apart as you use them.

All the Partials in Partial Magic can be used and re-used as many times as you like (we’d advise you work from a copy) and across as many projects as necessary; and they’re all editable, so you can adapt them to use on different sites and designs as required.

If you’ve never experimented with Partials before, we’d recommend you spend a bit of time with the various tutorial videos that are available online (just search for Rapidweaver Stacks Partials on YouTube and a whole bunch of them will come up) before starting work with Partial Magic. When you do, you’ll find a selection of useful website building blocks for Foundation that are well worth your time and your money.
